Westmed Medical Group has introduced its first ever podcast, “Is That Normal?”, hosted by Westmed pediatrician Dr. Dan Cohen. The podcast brings to the forefront parents’ most common questions from behind the exam room door. Dr. Cohen and his guests provide a refreshingly honest take on explaining how – when it comes to your kids – some things that seem odd, are actually totally common.

“Is That Normal?” is a thematic series, where each season will address topics relevant to pediatric issues during the many ages and stages of a child’s life. For its inaugural season, the podcast consists of three episodes that focus on subject matter and concerns that parents of newborns and toddlers may have. Dr. Cohen interviews guest speakers on topics like “how to choose a doctor”, the importance of sleep for childhood behavior and mental health, and the COVID-19 vaccine (and why it’s so important to get it).
