Westmed 2020 Flu Vaccine Now Available

Protect Yourself and Your Family’s Health This Year with the Flu Vaccine

If you have never gotten your flu vaccine before, this year is the year to do it. With COVID-19 being a continued risk, now is the time to support your immune system and do everything you can to stay healthy and out of the hospital, while protecting your loved ones who are more vulnerable to viral infections. For more reasons why the flu shot is more important than ever this year, read this article by infectious disease specialist Dr. Sandra Kesh.

Westmed Medical Group is now offering the flu vaccine at all upcoming primary care visits, and at our NEW Flu Vaccine Clinics in White Plains and Yonkers. Existing Westmed patients are able to schedule their visit at one of our Westmed Flu Clinics today by visiting www.westmedgroup.com/flu.

Simply select the clinic location, date and time that is convenient for you — including select evenings and weekends – it’s that easy, and it’s one more way to keep yourself and your family protected this year.

The Westmed Flu Vaccine Clinics will officially be open as of September 14th, 2020 at the following locations:

      • White Plains –  210 Westchester Ave (1st Floor)

Book Your Appointment Today

Patients who already have an upcoming appointment or physical with their Primary Care Provider do not need to schedule a separate visit to the Westmed Flu Clinic, as you will be offered the vaccine during the time of your office visit.

Any existing Westmed patient aged 3+ can schedule a flu vaccine visit at www.westmedgroup.com/flu . Walk-ins are not accepted, and appointments are required to get your vaccine at the Westmed Flu Clinics.

Note: The flu shot will be the only vaccine available during this visit; no other immunizations will be offered. Patients should not expect to meet with their PCP during their visit at the Flu Clinic, as the vaccine will be administered by one of our exceptional nurses.

Parents of pediatric patients should follow up directly with their pediatrician if immunization records or other paperwork is required, as they will not be completed during your visit to the clinic.  Don’t forget! You can communicate with your provider on the My Westmed Patient Portal if you need to inquire about paperwork needed for your child.
