Breast Surgery

Our highly skilled team supports patients with conditions related to the breast. These conditions may include breast cancer, benign breast disease, and breast pain. Our goal is to provide personalized, compassionate care - and we strive to see patients within 48 hours of breast surgery consultation request.

What We Do

Our comprehensive breast care team is here to help answer all questions regarding breast cancer and treatment and to provide personalized, compassionate care to ensure the best possible results. We work very hard to support our patients through the pathway of care, as seamlessly and comfortably as possible. Our goal is to provide every patient with direct access to our team, and strive to see patients within 48 hours from when consultation is first requested.

We also offer a tailored surveillance program for high-risk patients. This can include patients who have family members with breast cancer, or patients who have had previous biopsies and/or diagnoses of atypical breast findings.

Why We Are Different

Every patient has individual needs, and we are committed to being as responsive to those needs as possible. Whether a patient wants to move quickly through a series of tests, or needs more time to consider the information we have provided, we do our best to accommodate that preference.

The Westmed Breast Center has received full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Administered by the American College of Surgeons, the NAPBC is awarded only to those centers that have met the program’s criteria in all clinical areas involved in treating patients with diseases of the breast.

Taking care of patients with breast cancer and diseases of the breast requires a team approach. Our breast center brings together board-certified breast surgeons, radiologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons and radiation oncologists who work together to ensure seamless, convenient care.
