Dr. Zabin is a board-certified ophthalmologist, who specializes in cataract and lens implant surgery and trauma repair.

He received his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed an internal medicine internship at Long Island College Hospital and residency training in ophthalmology at New York Medical College, where he served as chief resident.

Dr. Zabin is affiliated with White Plains Hospital, The Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center and Westchester Medical Center. Prior to joining Westmed Medical Group in May 1999, he was in private practice, and served as a clinical consultant with Northeast Permanente Medical Group/Kaiser Permanente.

Since 1984, Dr. Zabin has been on the faculty of the Department of Ophthalmology at New York Medical College, where he was the program director of residency training from 1992 to 2011. He is currently an associate attending at New York Medical College and continues to instruct residents in clinical and surgical ophthalmology.
