Ms. Philip earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in British Columbia, Canada. She received her Master of Science as a family nurse practitioner from Columbia University School of Nursing in New York, NY and completed her palliative care certificate from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO.

Prior to joining Westmed, Ms. Philip worked as a nurse practitioner at The Jewish Home in Mamaroneck, NY. In this role, she provided appropriate care and interventions such as short-term rehab, palliative and hospice care to patients. Ms. Philip was also a nurse practitioner at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY and has a nursing background in emergency medicine.

Ms. Philip is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
