Ms. Edwards is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and an advanced practice registered nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in applied science nursing and her Master of Science degree in nursing education from Western Governors University. She then went on to complete her Post-Master’s Certificate in family nurse practitioner from the College of Mount Saint Vincent in Riverdale, NY.

Prior to joining Westmed, Ms. Edwards worked as a registered nurse in the cardio-pulmonary unit and the traumatic brain injury unit at the Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY. In this role, she provided comprehensive, patient-focused rehabilitation and expanded patients’ functional ability through conditioning, training and education, and provided strategies to overcome functional limitations and improve quality of life. Additionally, Ms. Edwards is currently an adjunct clinical faculty member at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.
