Ms. Garland is an ANCC board certified family nurse practitioner with nine years of pediatric clinical experience. She received both her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science in nursing from Dominican University, graduating with highest honors summa cum laude.

Prior to her career in pediatric dermatology, Ms. Garland worked in special education coordinating the care of emotional, behavioral and special needs students with chronic and acute health conditions.

She is an active member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society, the Dermatology Nurses Association, the New York State Nurse Practitioners Association and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. Ms. Garland is dedicated to remaining up to date on current and best practices in the field.
