Dr. Rachel Borlack earned her Bachelor of Science in health sciences, summa cum laude, from Boston University and achieved her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, where she earned the Dean’s Recognition Award. She completed her pediatric residency and her pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology and nutrition fellowship at Columbia University Irving Medical Center at NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital located in New York, NY.

Prior to joining Westmed, Dr. Borlack served as an assistant professor of pediatrics at UBMD pediatrics’ department of pediatrics at the Jacobs School of Medicine, Jacob School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, in Buffalo, NY. She is also currently serving as assistant professor of pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Montefiore, Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

Dr. Borlack is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatrics and pediatric gastroenterology and is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society and the National Pediatric Hypnosis Training Institute.
