Dr. Close is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her scope of practice spans the spectrum of gynecology from primary care for women from adolescence through menopause to gynecologic surgery. Dr. Close strives to partner with her patients to best attain their health care needs.

She received her medical degree from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Mexico and completed her residency training through New York Medical College Westchester County Medical Center -Metropolitan Hospital.

Dr. Close has taken care of the medical needs of the women of Westchester and Fairfield counties for over 30 years and has been awarded a Fairfield County Doctors of Distinction Award. She is fluent in Spanish as well as English.

In her free time Dr. Close volunteers with Physicians for Human Rights and Health Right International in which capacity she evaluates and writes affidavits for women to document medical evidence for their asylum claims.

Dr. Close is affiliated with Greenwich Hospital and Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center.
