Dr. Pino, who is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases,   received his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Norwalk Hospital / Yale University. This was followed by a fellowship in infectious diseases at the University of Connecticut.

Most recently, he was in private practice in infectious diseases and internal medicine with Norwalk Medical Group.  He is on the medical staff of Norwalk Hospital, where he serves as the Chief of Infectious Diseases.  He is also an HIV medicine consultant at the Norwalk Community Health Center.

Dr. Pino has been listed as a “Top Doctor – Infectious Diseases” in Connecticut Magazine from 2013-2017.  He received the Dr. Melville G. Magida Award at Norwalk Hospital in 2013.  He is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at Quinnipiac University Netter School of Medicine.
