Dr. Joy Nduka is a board certified family medicine physician who cares for the whole family. She practices comprehensive, evidence-based medicine to patients, regardless of age or health condition, while maintaining compassionate care. As a bilingual speaker who grew up in NYC, Dr. Nduka enjoys caring for patients from all diverse cultural backgrounds, as well as patients with gender and sexual identities across the spectrum.

She received her Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with a concentration in nutrition, and minored in international development from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. After earning her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Nduka completed her family medicine residency at the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn, NY.

Prior to joining Westmed Medical Group, Dr. Nduka worked as a family medicine physician at ProHEALTH Care Associates located in New Hyde Park, NY.

Dr. Nduka is an active member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the New York State Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
