Dr. Fishman graduated from Mt. Sinai Medical School in 1997, graduating AOA. He then completed his general surgical residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Fishman returned to Mount Sinai Hospital for a vascular surgery fellowship in 2009, completing the program in June, 2011. He is board certified in general surgery.

During his vascular surgery fellowship, Dr. Fishman had extensive training in endovascular, catheter based surgery including carotid artery occlusive disease treated open or with a balloon and stent when clinically appropriate and abdominal aneurysms, treated open or with the less invasive stent graft. He has a very large experience with angiography, angioplasty and stenting of arterial occlusive disease of the lower extremities.

Dr. Fishman joined WESTMED Medical Group in mid-July 2011. His affiliations include White Plains Hospital, Lawrence Hospital, and Greenwich Hospital.

Dr. Fishman is married and has two daughters. He is fluent in Spanish.
