Ms. Smith is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a certified medical-surgical registered nurse. She received her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from the State University of New York at Oneonta and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the College of New Rochelle. Ms. Smith then went on to complete a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Program at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY.

Prior to joining Westmed, Ms. Smith worked as a registered nurse for the medical-surgical acute care unit at the Bronx VA Medical Center.
