Mr. Yau received his bachelor of science degree in psychology from the University at Albany and a bachelor of science degree in nursing cum laude from the College of New Rochelle.  He then earned a master of science degree in the adult geriatric nurse practitioner program from Stony Brook University.

Most recently, he was a registered nurse in the Emergency Department at Phelps  Hospital in Sleepy Hollow, NY and served as a registered nurse in the Telemetry Unit and Intensive Care Unit float at that hospital as well.  He has completed clinical rotations at White Plains Family Health Center, Westchester Health, Phelps Medical Associates and Phelps Senior Health and Internal Medicine.

Mr. Yau is certified as an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.  He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
