Dr. Yung received his medical degree and graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Staten Island University Hospital and a residency in adult neurology at New York Presbyterian Hospital/ Columbia University Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in epilepsy/clinical neurophysiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.

He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has a special interest in the management of epilepsy. He is affiliated with White Plains Hospital.

Dr. Yung’s professional memberships include the American Epilepsy Society, the American Academy of Neurology and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

He joined Westmed Medical Group in August 2012. He speaks Cantonese and moderate medical Spanish.
