She is a member of both the Sigma Theta Tau International honor society and the Dermatology Nurses Association, and dedicated to remaining up to date on current and best practices in the field.

Allison Maki is competent and well informed. There are so many products and treatments for dermatology, but she provides explanations and details that help us to make an informed decision. In addition, she always has handouts if we need more detailed information or to remember specific instructions.

She used one word I did not know what it meant. She apologized and then gave me a full description. I have never had a doctor/NP apologize. One more thing, I asked her to discuss the injections with my rheumatologist. She did it immediately.
