Garlic Ginger Sliders

Garlic Ginger Sliders

This is a fun and health version of sliders that the whole family is sure to enjoy!


(serves 4)


1 TBSP olive oil

1 lb ground turkey 94-99% lean (ground pork)

1 whole egg (or 2 egg whites)

2 TBSP low sodium soy sauce

2 tsp Dijon or spicy mustard

2 tsp dried minced onion

2 scallions sliced thinly (green only)

1 carrot finely grated

1-2 tsp freshly grated ginger (ginger can be stored in the freezer for easy grating and extended shelf life)

3 cloves garlic minced or grated


1 ½ cups of low sodium chicken broth

¼ cup low sodium soy sauce

1 TBSP Dijon or spicy mustard

3 cloves garlic minced or grated

1-2 tsp freshly grated ginger

2 scallions sliced thinly



Iceberg lettuce or napa cabbage to wrap


      1. Add the olive oil to a 3” deep pan and heat on medium high
      2. In a bowl, combine the egg, soy sauce, mustard, minced onion, scallions, carrot, ginger and garlic
      3. Add the turkey to the mixture
      4. Form small patties and place them in the pan
      5. Cook for 5-7 minutes, turn the patties and brown the other side
      6. In the meantime, whisk  together the soy sauce and mustard
      7. Deglaze the pan with the chicken broth
      8. Add the soy sauce mixture, the garlic, ginger and scallions to the pan
      9. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes
      10.  Wrap the patties in the lettuce or cabbage
