Would you like to improve your balance and reduce the risk of falling?  Westmed Physical Therapy is offering a FREE weekly program to our patients 65 years of age and older!

Tai chi is an ancient Chinese tradition, and today is practiced as a graceful form of exercise.  It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing.  Tai chi enhances balance and decreases falls through:

  • Movement control
  • Weight transference
  • Integration of mind and body
