What We Do

We are dedicated to the wellness of the whole woman. We treat not only breast cancer, but also benign breast diseases, including breast pain.

We also offer a tailored surveillance program for high-risk patients. This can include patients who have family members with breast cancer, or patients who have undergone biopsies and have diagnoses of atypical breast findings that are not cancer.

Our comprehensive team of doctors is here to help answer all questions regarding breast cancer and treatment and to provide personalized, compassionate care to ensure the best possible results. We work very hard to enable our patients move through the pathway of care as seamlessly and comfortably as possible. Our goal is to be available to see patients within 48 hours or less when a consultation appointment is needed.

Why We Are Different

Every patient is an individual with her/his needs, so we aim to be responsive to those needs. Whether a patient wants to move quickly through a series of tests, or needs more time to consider the information we have provided, we do our best to accommodate that preference.

The WESTMED Breast Center, serving individuals in Westchester County and Fairfield County, has received full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). Administered by the American College of Surgeons, the NAPBC is awarded only to those centers that have met the program’s criteria in all clinical areas involved in treating patients with diseases of the breast. To become accredited, breast centers must be committed to providing the highest level of quality breast care, and must successfully complete a stringent performance review.

Taking care of patients with breast cancer and breast diseases requires a team approach. Our breast center brings together board-certified breast surgeons, radiologists, medical oncologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons and radiation oncologists who work together to ensure seamless, convenient care.
