Ms. Silvaney graduated from Philadelphia University’s Physician Assistant Program and is nationally certified and New York State licensed. Prior to beginning her education as a physician assistant, she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Drexel University. She is affiliated with White Plains Hospital and the Rye Ambulatory Surgery Center. Also she is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Wound Care.
Prior to specializing in wound care, Ms. Silvaney was part of WESTMED’s plastic surgery team since 2004. During that time, she discovered her passion for treating wounds. She treats patients with acute and chronic wounds, which are often difficult and hard to treat. These include post-surgical and post-radiation wounds, leg injuries, venous and diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers and burns.
Her many years of diverse healthcare experience, ranging from being a hospital clinical nutritionist to working at a large center for yoga and health, give her a unique patient care perspective.
