As the Construction Manager you will report to the Director of Facilities and be responsible for:
· Coordinating and supervising all construction activities.
· Directing all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
· Maintaining construction schedule, identifying and solving problems.
· Ordering materials and scheduling inspections as necessary throughout the process.
· Maintaining a positive relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
· Preparing, scheduling and supervising completion of a final punch list.
· Promoting job site safety, encouraging safe work practices and rectifying job site hazards immediately.
· Ensuring all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
· Maintaining an organized job site, including the construction office.
