Under direction of Clinical Nursing Director, in accordance with policies and procedures of Rye ASC, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist and support the surgeons and nursing staff in the operating room in rendering high quality patient care.  Assist with the preparation, transportation and monitoring of patients.  Demonstrates and adheres to principles of aseptic technique as a supporting member of the surgical staff to ensure a sterile field prior to and throughout  the surgical procedure.
