As you may know by now, White Plains Hospital Center, Lawrence Hospital, Northern Westchester Hospital, and Phelps Memorial Hospital Center are no longer participating hospitals with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield as of April 1, 2010. We are committed to you as our patient , and we regret this situation and the inconvenience it may cause you.
We are hopeful that this issue will be resolved shortly, and we are working actively with both parties, emphasizing the impact on our patients and the community. Because of the large size of our practice and multiple hospital affiliations, we are in a good position to arrange for all necessary elective care at a participating facility.
