The Westchester Medical Group (WMG), based in White Plains, announces its expansion into Eastchester, Scarsdale, and Yonkers, and welcomes four internists, four OB/GYNs, and six cardiology physicians into its practice.

Dr. Simeon Schwartz, president of The Westchester Medical Group of White Plains, will be on the panel, participating in the planning process. A competition will be designed to generate new ways to address the nation’s serious health care system challenges with a prize to be awarded to the winning company or individual and a $10 million-plus incentive, it was announced today by WellPoint, Inc., the nation’s largest health benefits company; the WellPoint Foundation, one of the largest corporate foundations in the United States; and the X PRIZE Foundation, the nation’s pre-eminent philanthropic organization focused on innovation through competition.
